Arooj Nazir, Senior Lecturer, Department of Psychology, participated in the 44th Annual Conference of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies, held in Hamburg, Germany, under the theme “Maintaining Human Dignity in the Midst of Crises.” Ms. Nazir’s workshop, “Maintaining Dignity and Humiliation of Immigrants in Multicultural Countries,” explored discrimination, marginalization, cultural identity, belonging, and human dignity through psychological and social perspectives. Through her participation, she engaged with International community of scholars and practitioners, shared perspectives from her academic and professional work at UCP, and represented Pakistan in the global dialogue on human dignity.
