Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh from the Faculty of Science and Technology has visited China under the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) and National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Joint Scientific Exchange Program-JSEP between August 14-21, 2023. He is the principal investigator of the PSF-NSFC joint project, one of the four projects awarded by NSFC-China this year. He delivered a keynote talk on “Molecular spectroscopy in nanomaterials characterization to develop AI-integrated analysis and applications” at Shandong University of Science and Technology, Qingdao, China.
He also visited intelligent manufacturing industries, including Hiron Qingdao Commercial Cold Chain Co., Ltd, Haier Group Corporation headquartered in Qingdao, Aucma Innovation Center, Beidou Mining Industry Intelligence China and China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group for collaborative research projects on Intelligence Manufacturing and Analysis.
