The International Office, along with Mr. Sahir Mushtaq, Team Lead of Foreign Languages at UCP, organized a two-day Chinese Language and Culture Workshop in collaboration with Tang International at UCP. The workshop aimed to promote knowledge of the Chinese language and its culture, emphasizing the valuable resources and job opportunities it provides, given that it is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world.
The workshop attracted students who are immersed in learning Chinese as part of their curriculum. These eager learners took part in the event to bridge their understanding of the Chinese language and culture. The session was interactive, with Chinese tutors engaging the students in a virtual setting.
The session thoroughly addressed students’ questions and offered guidance on the exciting upcoming Chinese Cultural Camp, which UCP will organize. The camp aims to provide students with an opportunity to experience Chinese culture firsthand through a visit to China.
The workshop concluded with students thanking the organizers for their efforts in delivering such an engaging and informative session. Many students expressed that it had boosted their confidence and enhanced their motivation to pursue their Chinese language studies at UCP.
