The Faculty of Languages & Literature (FLL) has taken a pivotal step toward enhancing academic and cultural collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Center for Culture and Development (C2D) / Gandhara Resource Center Pakistan. The ceremony, held on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, was led by Prof. Dr. Fehmida Sultana, Dean of FLL, marking a significant milestone in advancing interdisciplinary partnerships and fostering mutual growth.
This strategic partnership is designed to foster cooperation in cultural research, educational development, and interdisciplinary projects. The collaboration will provide FLL students and faculty with opportunities to engage in innovative initiatives, bridging the gap between academia and cultural development. By immersing students in projects that celebrate and preserve cultural heritage, the partnership equips them with the tools to promote their culture and research solutions that drive revolutionary change in society.
Students will benefit immensely from this partnership through exposure to enriched learning experiences, access to unique research opportunities, and participation in joint programs aimed at broadening their academic and cultural horizons. These initiatives will prepare them to become culturally aware, socially responsible, and professionally adept members of the workforce, capable of making impactful societal contributions.
The MOU underscores a shared commitment to advancing cultural awareness, developing interdisciplinary synergies, and nurturing a sense of global citizenship. By expanding its academic and cultural outreach, FLL reaffirms its dedication to shaping students in the best possible manner—academically, personally, and socially—while preparing them to be leaders in a dynamic and interconnected world. This partnership exemplifies FLL’s unwavering commitment to fostering transformative educational experiences and cultivating well-rounded, culturally conscious graduates.
