MoU signed by UCP-CPE & Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan (IFMP)

UCP Centre for Professional Excellence has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan (IFMP) for offering diploma and certification programs for professionals working in the financial sector including Stock Markets, Insurance Companies, Financial Consultancy, Brokerage, Mutual Funds etc.

Speaking on the occasion, UCP Pro Rector Dr Nassar Ikram applauded the effort that IFMP has initiated to promote the professional education in collaboration with UCP while its scope would be extended to other institutions including Punjab Group of Colleges. He also proposed that IFMP may kick start more initiative in partnership with other national organizations in order to further incentivize and facilitate the graduating students and young professionals to start and build up their career in the financial markets.

Chief Executive Officer IFMP, Mr Mobashar Sadik, shared that IFMP has started several initiatives in order to promote the professional education programs so that organizations in the financial sector could find workers and executives who possess the right skillset for their designated jobs. He added that full support from their unit “JamaPunji” shall be also extended in UCP – CPE collaboration.

Head UCP Centre for Professional Excellence, Mr Zubair Anwar shared that with this partnership, CPE would be offering professional certification and diploma programs which would upskill the individual professionals to choose their careers as Securities Brokers, Mutual Fund Distributors, Commodities Sales Agents, Financial Analysts, Securities and Futures Advisors, Compliance Officers and Insurance Agents by passing the IFMP examinations.

Head Human Resource, Treasurer, Manager Training Internal, CPE team from UCP attended the signing ceremony. From IFMP, Head of Programmes, Mr Ameer Hamza and Assistant Manager Business Development, Mr Shahrukh Usmani also attended the ceremony.
