MoU signing between Youth General Assembly, Pakistan and University of Central Punjab

Faculty of Management Studies, University of Central Punjab and Youth General Assembly (YGA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 19th September 2022 to promote cooperation and advancement of understanding in academic and executive education training. One of this MoU’s main objectives is to broaden students’ scope and make them responsible citizens. This collaboration also aims to organize soft-skill-focused training for students. Every year the students will undergo different activities enabling them to change their mindset to be responsible citizens. This initiative is taken by Ms. Ambreen Khursheed (Senior Lecturer, FOMS).
Present at the ceremony were Mr Fahad Shahbaz, President Youth General Assembly, and Ms Zainab Sohail, Joint Secretory YGA and Ms Imtesal Awan, Information Secretory YGA. Representing UCP were Professor Shafique Ahmed Uqaili, Officiating Dean, FOMS and Director, UCP Business School; Ms Ambreen Khursheed, Senior Lecturer, FOMS; Dr Abdul Waheed Head of Management and Entrepreneurship Department; Dr Ahmed Faisal Imtiaz Siddiqi, Head of IT and General Courses Department.
The objectives and mission of the Youth General Assembly, as well as the current initiatives of YGA, were presented to the UCP representatives. Both parties expressed their commitment to enhancing the participation of youth in political, legal and social affairs. To ensure synchronization of their mutual interests and understanding, Mr Fahad Shahbaz and Professor Shafique Ahmed Uqaili signed the MOU for YGA and UCP, respectively. The initiative of Ms Ambreen was acknowledged and praised by YGA representatives. Prof. Shafique Ahmed Uqaili expressed gratitude and praised YGA for its efforts and contribution toward youth development.
This partnership with UCP reflects the university’s vision toward playing a more constructive role in the advancement of society.
