MOU with ZAPTA Technologies

With the aim to strengthen industry-academia linkages, University of Central Punjab and ZAPTA Technologies signed an MOU on the 26th of December, 2022. Dr. Muhammad Amjad Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology (FOIT), University of Central Punjab and Mr. Ateeq Ur Rehman, COO, ZAPTA Technologies Private Limited headed the ceremony and exchanged the signed MOUs. Dr. Mohsin Ashraf Assistant Professor FOIT, UCP, Dr. Shahid Raza Director ORIC, and Mr. Asif Farooq Faculty Industry Liaison officer (FILO) graced the ceremony with their presence.
Through this opportunity, both organizations aim to explore areas of mutual interest such as employability, support, curriculum development, research and development, experience-sharing and organizing industrial visits for the students. ZAPTA Technologies shall provide opportunities to the students, scholars and faculty members of UCP to carry out research and technology related projects in the areas of mobile and web application development. Furthermore, ZAPTA Technologies shall also ensure the provision of paid internships and full time jobs to the students of UCP.
