Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Director ORIC delivered a talk titled “Nanodrug Delivery Systems for Targeted Therapeutics in Infectious and Chronic Diseases” at the 2nd International Conference on Healthcare Challenges and Innovations in the 21st Century (HCIC 2026), organized by the School of Pharmacy, University of Management and Technology, held on June 10–11, 2026, in Lahore. During his presentation, he highlighted recent advancements in nanodrug delivery systems and emphasized their potential to enhance treatment outcomes for infectious and chronic diseases through targeted and efficient therapeutic strategies.
