UCP Welfare Society organized a seminar on “Social Welfare Scenario of Pakistan”, which was attended by 120 NGO. Dr. Hadia Awan, Pro-Rector UCP welcomed the esteemed guests and reiterated the importance of social development sector and volunteering in Pakistan. Mr. Muhammad Hammad Ur Rehman (Deputy Director VIS and Patron Welfare Society) presented the efforts being made by UCP and VIS department for development of our beloved homeland and promotion of volunteerism.

Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmad Kazmi (Representative of UNFPA), Mr. Shahid Lone (Executive Director, ALLAH WALAY TRUST), Ms. Javeria Sultan (MIGRANT RESOURCE CENTRE), Mr. Faisal Ilyas (PEACE HOPE FOUNDATION), Mr. Kashf Shah (Program Director, MILKAR PAKISTAN) and Chief Guest Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Mangat (Vice President, AL-KHIDMAT FOUNDATION) delivered talk on the social welfare scenario of Pakistan and role being played by NGOs in development of Pakistan.
