The 23rd Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) meeting
The 23rd Board of Advanced Studies & Research (BASR) meeting was held on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore. The meeting was chaired by the Pro-Rector UCP, Dr. Nassar Ikram in the presence of external and internal experts. The external expert Prof. Dr. Babar Aziz (Professor of Economics GCU, Lahore) and Dr. Hamid Hassan (Director & Professor, FAST, Lahore.) specially graced the meeting and appreciated the expeditious efforts of UCP in the promotion of quality Education.
Registrar, Deans, heads of departments, and other relevant Officials were also present in the meeting. Manager GSO opened the meeting with the recitation of verses from The Holy Quran and shared a brief introduction of the agenda items of the meeting. Followed the detailed presentation of agenda items by Registrar UCP. Pro-Rector, UCP directed the Director of Academics and GSO to devise a committee to improve the monitoring of PG programs. The board members also shared valuable suggestions with the Pro-Rector for future research work.
