Three weeks ROR Boot camp closing ceremony at UCP by Devsinc

Faculty of Information technology, University of Central Punjab in correspondence with Devsinc, arranged a three-week Boot camp on the famous technology Ruby on Rails. The initiative has been taken by FILO (Faculty Industry Liaison Officer) Mr. Asif From Computer Science department in the efforts to bridge industry-academia gap.

Devsinc, founded in 2010, is now the leading software consulting organization providing products and services in the fields of real estate, healthcare, e-commerce, advertising, augmented reality, finance and sharing economy. The students of University of Central Punjab were so fortunate have been included in the three-week boot camp run by field experts provided by Devsinc.

After the Successful completion of Boot-camp the Closing ceremony was hosted by Mr. Asif Farooq, Dr. Mohsin Ashraf, Bilal Khan and Usman Ahmad from Computer Science Department. The HR and marketing team from Devsinc also obliged us with their presence. They presented certificates and gift hampers to the students completing the Boot-camp successfully.

Talking about the future collaborations and Devsinc’s plans to start the incubation center for startups, the delegation also met team Takhleeq at the University of Central Punjab. Both parties agree on joining hands together in encouraging youth to become self employed by taking risks and initiative to startups and eventually provide stability to country’s economy.
