Volunteers in Service (VIS) department in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation and Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA), has planted around 300,000 trees in and around Lahore.
This project aims to plant 1 million indigenous trees in and around Lahore. Volunteers of University of Central Punjab have stood up to the occasion and Tree Plantation Drives are organized at different intervals throughout the year at different places in Lahore. This is 4th planation drive for 2024. Plantation was done in green belts near Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate.
