University of Central Punjab secured the final round of the All-Pakistan Inter-University Basketball Championship 2025–26, organized by the University of Peshawar in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. Sixteen universities from across the country qualified for the final stage, making it a highly competitive national event. In a thrilling final match, UCP defeated the University of Lahore by a narrow margin of 69–68 to secure the championship title. Prof. Dr. Zia ul Haq, Executive Director, HEC Pakistan, graced the occasion as chief guest and distributed trophies and cash prizes among the winning teams.
