Virsa’19 Photo Walk

UCP Photography Club in collaboration with Adil Lahorei Cultural Club organized a guided photo walk for the students of UCP. The walk started from Mochi Gate and the participants witnessed many historical places along the route including Laal Khoo, Mohalla Shiyan, Baab ul Hawaij, Chowk Nawab Sahab, Mubarik Haveli, Chohatta Mufti Baqir, Kharaadi Mohalla, Masjid Wazir Khan, Rang Mahal, Sonehri Masjid, Baoli Baagh, Tomb of Malik Ayaz, Waan Market, Kasera Bazar, Surjan Singh Chowk, Pani wala Talab, and Laangay Mandi. The walk concluded at the Fort Road Food Street where arrangements for lunch were made for all participants at the Haveli Restaurant. The basic purpose of arranging such photo-walks is to promote the development of rich and proud heritage (Virsa) of Punjab and to let young photographers explore and their talent by photographing street life, historic buildings, architecture and rich heritage of old Lahore.
