Workshop on: Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Substance Abuse

In collaboration with Phoenix Foundation for Research and Development, the Department of Psychology, University of Central Punjab organized a pre-conference workshop on ‘Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with Substance Abuse” on 16th March 2022 in a board room building-A at UCP. The workshop was held as a part of the International Conference on Substance Use Disorders scheduled for 30th-31thMarch, 2022.
The Guest Speaker was Dr Mirrat Gul, Senior Clinical Psychologist and Vice President Pact, Pakistan. The workshop aimed to establish participants’ orientation and insight into substance abuse disorders. Moreover, it focused majorly on understanding the appropriate and effective use of therapeutic techniques of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) with substance abuse disorders. The interactive workshop proved to be beneficial for students and professionals.
