A delegation of 16 people including faculty members and MPhil Applied Linguistics and MA English students headed by Director English Program, Dr. Ismat Jabeen, participated in 3rd Kashmir International Conference on Linguistics held in Muzaffarabad on 16th & 17th April 2018, organized by University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
During the two-day conference, various Plenary Sessions and 120 Research Papers by renowned national and international dignitaries and linguists were presented on emerging issues and areas under the major theme of the conference Linguistic Diversity & Cultural Preservation in South Asia.
UCP English Department delegation marked its significant presence in the conference by presenting four research papers mainly focusing on ELT, linguistics and gender representation issues:
