View mapCluster Head – Strategy and Research, Mr. Amjad Hussein organized a guest speaker session for BBA students with Mr. Saqib Ali, Regional Manager, Zong Pakistan. Mr. Saqib has extensive working experience in Pakistani corporate sector including tenures with Hilti, Philip Morris and Telenor prior to joining Zong. The session was pivoted around the agenda: ‘Strategic Options and Moves – Actions taken and their Outcomes’. The guest presented the cases of Philip-Morris Pak and Telenor, their start-up phase, strategic options availed by the organization from time to time, particularly its brand positioning strategy countering government policies and health issues.
In a brief discussion after the talk, Mr. Saqib Ali highlighted the significance of skills orientation in curriculum for business students especially working in teams, and coordination among the team members.
Cluster head expressed his gratitude, presented souvenir and thanked the guest for sparing valuable time to address UCP Business School’s students.
