Dr. Zohaib Aftab, Assistant Professor in the *Mechanical Engineering Department* of FOE has won a research grant from an international donor (TWAS-COMSTECH). The selection of TWAS Research Grants is highly competitive and is based purely on scientific merit. The grant worth USD 11160/- shall be used to develop a novel cost-effective exoskeleton device to help disabled persons walk again. Dr. Zohaib leads the Biomechatronics research group in UCP and is with the university since 2013.
