A Guest Entrepreneur session was organized with Monis Rahman on 18 June 2019, who along with being an entrepreneur is also a venture capitalist and one of the pioneers who initiated Eco System in Pakistan. He was the founder of Naseeb Networks, Rozee.pk, Finja (SIM SIM), Easy Tickets and many other ventures. Rahman has been listed among the top entrepreneurs of the 21st century. Forbes ranked him number six on its list of “Top Ten Big Hitting Asian Businessmen under 50” in 2011. His main moto is to promote, ‘Rewards of Pursuing Entrepreneurship in Universities and Creating Jobs for Others. Monis related the various aspects of Effectual Entrepreneurship with his personal journey of initiating Naseeb Networks and Rozee.pk. He intimated his journey through the critical stages of hardships which later paved his way for success by securing him an investment from venture capitalist entities. He further emphasized on ignoring temporary aspects of the journey and advised to be focused on the strategic ones. The session was exclusively arranged for the Entrepreneurship courses students of BBA and MBA.
