A Session on Prerequisites for a Corporate Career

Mr. Adeel Anwar, a successful HR leader with more than seventeen years of industry experience
was invited as a guest speaker to a session on “Prerequisites for a Corporate Career.” He had
served as a Human Resource leader in organizations with multiple operating units. The speaker
started off with an introduction to the “Prerequisites for a Corporate Career.” He educated the
audience with important skills and techniques they must master before they embark the corporate
ship. Moreover, the speaker explained the importance of organizational skills, cooperative
behavior and work ethic. The audience were advised on how they can plan and prioritize their
tasks in order to take ownership while working in a department. The session concluded with
students asking questions regarding corporate culture and politics they might encounter while
working in an organization.
