View mapA workshop on Entrepreneurship was held at University of Central Punjab organized by School of Accounting & Finance on 21st June 2017 to encourage the aspiring entrepreneurs in order to get better understanding of entrepreneurship skills and execute ideas into viable business plans.
The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Amina Rizwan, Lecturer in SAF who highlighted the importance of this workshop in the present scenario. The workshop was officially started with the motivational talk by Pro-Rector UCP, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zafarullah who expressed his pleasure over the enthusiasm of the students. Dr. Bilal Mirza Director, ORIC and HoD, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Division, UCP Business School was the guest speaker on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of SAF and the students who participated in the Entrepreneurship Competition and presented their projects. During the closing of the workshop, Dr. Ather Azim Khan, Director SAF, Associate Dean FMS, emphasized, that an idea along with imagination and creativity could lead to invention, which further leads to innovation. At the end, shields and certificates were awarded to winning teams and organizers of the workshop.
