The BS FinTech (Financial Technology) is a four-year degree program consisting of eight semesters, with Fall and Spring semesters offered each year. The Summer semester is designated for deficiency courses and field internships. Students are allowed a maximum of seven years to complete the program.
BS FinTech (Financial Technology)
Each candidate for a BS FinTech degree is required to complete 131 Cr. Hrs. with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 on the scale of 4.0 as per the following details:

Graduates will be equipped to work in banks, financial institutions, FinTech companies, tech firms operating in the financial sector, as well as in FinTech advisory and consulting roles. The program also aims to foster entrepreneurial skills, preparing students to launch and manage FinTech startups. Students can pursue a job as a developer in one of the following areas within a financial institution or a fintech firm, or launch a fintech start up focusing on any of the specific areas listed below.
- Digitalization of financial services/ Automation of processes
- Development of mobile banking applications
- Development of blockchain applications, smart contracts and digital assets
- Development of robo-advisors and other platform business models.
- Design and management of payment systems including mobile wallets and payment gateways
- Prediction using machine learning tools and big data including market trends or fraud detection.
- Serve as a regtech expert for ensuring compliance
Students are required to complete 127 credit hours with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
