Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design

The BFA (Visual Communication Design) program is designed to develop creative, technical, and strategic design skills through a blend of visual arts, digital media, communication design, and emerging technologies. The program offers a comprehensive range of theory and practical courses, including 2-D & 3-D Studies, Typography, Drawing Studies, Calligraphy, Photography, Digital Arts, Animation, Motion Graphics, Game Design, UI/UX Design, VR Design, Web & Interface Design, and Branding Strategy. Students are also exposed to interdisciplinary subjects such as Video Editing, Film & Theater Studies, and Artificial Intelligence in Creative Arts, enabling them to understand modern trends in visual communication and digital storytelling.

The program provides students with opportunities to participate in creative projects, workshops, exhibitions, design studios, and professional activities that enhance their practical expertise and innovative thinking. Through internships, market-driven certifications, and a final research thesis/project, students gain hands-on industry experience and develop professional portfolios that prepare them for careers in the creative and digital industries.

The BFA (Visual Communication Design) program aims to produce highly skilled and innovative designers who are capable of working in graphic design, animation, branding, advertising, digital media, UI/UX design, gaming, multimedia production, and other creative sectors at both national and international levels.

This is a four-year degree program comprising 08 semesters. Each candidate of the BFA in Visual Communication Design degree program is required to complete 139 credit hours, as mentioned in the outline. To fulfill CGPA requirements, a student must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 upon completion of the degree.  There will be a Fall and Spring semester each year. The minimum and maximum duration to complete the program is 04 and 07 years, respectively.
