Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts

The BFA (Visual Art) program is designed to develop students’ creative, technical, and conceptual skills through a combination of studio practice, visual research, interdisciplinary learning, and professional exposure. The program offers a diverse range of courses, including 2-D & 3-D Studies, Fine Arts Studio, Calligraphy, Typography, Drawing Studies, Craft Studies, Photography, Digital Arts, Installation Art, Printmaking Innovations, Concept Art, Artificial Intelligence in Creative Arts, and History of Art. Students are also introduced to interdisciplinary subjects such as Film & Theater Studies, Video Editing, Branding Strategy, and Digital Cinematography to broaden their artistic and professional understanding.

The program encourages students to explore contemporary artistic practices through seminars, exhibitions, workshops, studio projects, and research activities, helping them stay aligned with current trends in the visual arts industry. Students also gain practical exposure through internships, market-driven certifications, and a final research thesis/project, which helps them build professional portfolios and industry-ready skills. The BFA (Visual Art) program aims to produce highly creative and skilled visual artists who are capable of pursuing successful careers in fine arts, digital arts, design, multimedia, creative industries, and related professional fields.

The programme also equips graduates with entrepreneurial and digital skills, enabling them to work as freelancers, content creators, and creative consultants in both local and international markets.

This is a four-year degree program comprising 08 semesters. Each candidate of the BFA in Visual Arts degree program is required to complete 139 credit hours, as mentioned in the outline. To fulfill CGPA requirements, a student must achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 upon completion of the degree.  There will be a Fall and Spring semester each year. The minimum and maximum duration to complete the program is 04 and 07 years, respectively.
