The PhD degree programme in Pure, Applied and Computational Mathematics will focus on strengthening the ability of a student in mathematical reasoning and logical thinking. Students in this program can prepare themselves either for their further development in the field of Mathematics or for jobs in academic, industrial, business and government organizations. To achieve the highest possible standards for preparing the dynamic leaders, effective teachers, active researchers, and strong problem solvers in emerging areas of mathematical sciences. The non-PhD faculty members in various Faculties of UCP and other Universities in Pakistan, may enrol in this programme and will meet the future requirement by the HEC to complete their PhD at the earliest. To provide an opportunity to the general candidates to register in PhD programme, which will maximize the effectiveness of collaborative research of the existing young faculty members by engaging them in various areas of mathematical sciences.
