Dr. Adeel Arif earned his PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with specialization in autonomous systems and computer vision. His research focused on developing vision-based control strategies for precise autonomous landing of aerial robots. With a background in Electrical Engineering and experience in Computer Science, he works at the intersection of hardware and software. Over his 13+ years in academia, he has contributed to teaching, research, OBE accreditation, IEEE event organization, and lab development, and has reviewed for leading IEEE and Elsevier journals.
