Ms. Huda Rehman Mir obtained her M. Phil degree with major in Biotechnology from Forman Christian College, University Lahore (FCCU). Her research focused on production of an eco-friendly renewable energy resource by recycling food waste and reducing greenhouse gas emission. She also explored the association of few single nucleotide polymorphisms at TCF7L2 locus in individuals with type-2 diabetes. Before joining UCP, she has also served as a Research Assistant in FCCU while working on Biogas production through poultry waste. She has participated in various scientific conferences and seminars. She received several awards and honors during her academic career which includes FCCU Merit scholarship and DAAD Summer Internship at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany. Her expertise lies in molecular biology techniques (PCR for disease diagnostics & Gel Electrophoresis).
