Mr. Kamil Shehzad Bakhsh

Mr. Kamil Shehzad Bakhsh (based in Lahore) is pursuing a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Central Punjab. He earned an M.Phil. in Pakistan Studies (Gold Medalist) from Minhaj University, Lahore. His M.Phil. dissertation was titled “The Dynamics of Pakistan–US Relations under Obama’s Af-Pak Policy.” He also holds B.Ed. (Secondary) and topped his batch. His dissertation for B.Ed. was titled “Relationship among Emotional Intelligence, Teachers’ Job Satisfaction, and Turnover Intentions in Private Schools of Lahore”.

He completed his Matriculation from FBISE as an overseas student residing in Kuwait, followed by A Levels from Edexcel, UK, studied in Sri Lanka. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from Punjab University, and spent nearly 16 years abroad, receiving his school and college education in the UAE, Kuwait, and Sri Lanka. In addition, he earned a BS in Electronics and Communication from The University of Lahore, and obtained a Professional Certificate in International Relations in 2019 from the Virtual University of Pakistan.

Professionally, he has served as a Lecturer in Pakistan Studies (Visiting Faculty) at NUML, Lahore. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a Non-Formal Education Examiner at the Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education Department, Government of Punjab. Later, from 2019 to 2021, he held the position of Coordinator/Incharge at the Unique Group of Institutions, Lahore, where he taught Pakistan Studies, History, and Geography.
