Tahoor Ali is a lecturer in the Department of English, Faculty of Languages and Literature at the University of Central Punjab. He is also a PhD scholar at the International Islamic University Islamabad. Previously, he taught at the University of Management and Technology.
He teaches courses on Modern Literature, South Asian Literature, Postcolonial Studies, Literary Theory, Women’s Writing, and Global Muslim Narratives. His research focuses on local literary cultures, translation, and the Cold War. Currently, he is working on literary translation projects established in Pakistan during the Cold War period. He actively participates in national and international conferences in his area of interest. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Mr Ali manages the UCP Journal of Languages and Literature and works as a course advisor for MS English Literature students.
