Ms. Amber Baseer has completed her MS Clinical Psychology from Kinnaird College for women, Lahore. She did her Bachelors in Psychology from Forman Christian College, Lahore. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude (highest honors FCCU). She has participated in numerous co-curricular activities throughout her career. She has done internships in different institutes namely; Light of Hope School (run by Forman Christian College), Government School for Physically Disable Children, Services Hospital and Amin Maktab Institute for Special Children. As part of these internships she got the opportunity to develop lesson plans, engage in classroom management, formulate individualized educational plan for special children, practice behaviour management techniques, take psychological history, make diagnoses, manage the symptomology of her clients and administer disorder specific psychological tests. She has the experience of working with different disorders such as Substance abuse, Bipolar, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Depression, Schizophrenia, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Microcephaly and Muscular dystrophy. She has presented her research papers at international and national conferences. Her research interests include stereotypes, aggression, gender discrimination and social media addiction.
