Ms. Arooj Nazir

Arooj Nazir is a PhD Scholar in Clinical Psychology at Government College University, Lahore, and holds an MS Clinical Psychology and B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology from the same institution. She is currently serving as Senior Lecturer and BS Research Coordinator, Co-patron of ‘The Perception’ Student magazine in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Central Punjab, Lahore. With extensive teaching, training, and clinical experience, she has worked in universities, special education departments, and hospitals, providing psycho-diagnosis, psychotherapy, and counseling services. Her professional expertise also includes student counseling, research supervision, and organizing academic workshops. Her research interests span emotional abuse, mental health, digital behavior, and psychological interventions. Throughout her career, she has completed several internships and engaged in volunteer work at institutions such as the Psychiatry Department at Ganga Ram Hospital, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Hamza Foundation for the Deaf, SOS Children’s Village, The Citizen Foundation, and government schools as a counselor to adolescents.
