Ayesha Khan completed her M.Phil. and M.A in English Literature from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at UCP in the faculty of Languages and Literature. She has vast experience of teaching in different educational institutions of Lahore. Ayesha Khan is a researcher in contemporary Pakistani English fiction, focusing on the novels of Omar Shahid Hamid. Her work explores the politics of space and identity, analyzing how Karachi’s urban geographies, ideological structures, and power struggles shape subjectivities. Drawing on postcolonial and cultural theory, she highlights the intersections of ethnicity, radicalization, and belonging in Hamid’s narratives.
