Ms. Warda Zafar, currently working as Associate Lecturer in University of Central Punjab with research interests that engage with contemporary critical debates at the intersections of literature, culture, and theory. My primary focus lies in the study of eco-dystopia and marginalized voices in post-apocalyptic literature, where I examine how narratives of ecological crisis foreground issues of survival, silenced subjectivities, and alternative imaginaries of the future. In addition, my work interrogates representations of sexuality and body dysmorphia in contemporary literary and cultural texts, with an emphasis on the ways in which identity, corporeality, and gender are constructed, contested, and politicized. I also critically engage with questions of power and ideology, particularly how literary discourses reflect, reinforce, or resist hegemonic structures within both historical and present contexts.
