Mr. Muhammad Usama Munir is a dedicated Experimental Pharmaceutical Chemist whose research program is situated at the critical interface of drug discovery, rational design, and preclinical development. Currently pursuing his doctoral studies (PhD) at the Government College University of Faisalabad, his work emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to identifying and advancing novel therapeutic candidates. A core component of Mr. Munir’s research involves the organic synthesis of novel chemical entities, designed with potential therapeutic applications in mind. This synthetic work is significantly informed and guided by his proficiency in Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD). His foundational knowledge, established during his Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, provides a strong underpinning for conducting and interpreting in-vivo studies. This background facilitates a deeper understanding of pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics. Furthermore, Mr. Munir possesses significant expertise in metabolomics, specifically focusing on characterizing the metabolic fate of drug candidates. He demonstrates proficiency in utilizing advanced analytical methodologies, including HPLC for separation and quantification and LC-MS/MS for the structural elucidation and identification of drug metabolites.
