Dr. Faiqa Yaseen

Dr Faiqa Yaseen completed PhD Clinical Psychology from Institute of Professional Psychology, UMT, Lahore. She is currently serving at UCP as Associate Professor of Psychology in FHSS. She has over two-decade experience of teaching and research in different universities of Pakistan. Her PhD dissertation focused on psycho-social problems, social support, and coping in the wives of emigrants, utilizing a mixed-method research design. She developed two indigenous scales for assessing psycho-social issues and coping. With strong expertise in qualitative methods such as grounded theory and interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), as well as quantitative data analysis techniques, she has been teaching graduate and postgraduate courses since 2004, covering research methods, data analysis, therapeutic approaches and eethical issues in clinical psychology. Additionally, she has supervised numerous BS and MPhil research projects. At present, she is supervising three PhD students.
