Ms. Maryam Hussain has completed her MS in Clinical Psychology from Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore and BS 4-year degree program in Applied Psychology from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. She is currently serving at UCP as Senior Lecturer of Psychology in FHSS. Ms. Maryam has a wealth of experience in the field of Clinical Psychology. She has previously taught and trained students of MS Clinical Psychology at UMT, Sialkot. In the capacity of a research supervisor, she supervised 15 MS Clinical Psychology thesis’ students. Previously, she worked at School of Education (SOE), LUMS as a Research Assistant. Furthermore, she has also taught University of London BSc Psychology courses (instructions provided by King’s College London) at a recognized TNE institute in Lahore. Her research interests include computer mediated human assistive application in the area of psychology, computer-human interaction for reduction in prejudice and various other socio-political concerns, dark triad traits, benign masochism, use of psychotherapies to address climate change, and health psychology. For clinical concerns, her preferred mode of therapies are person centered therapy, IIP (Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy), and CBT-R (Religion based CBT), amongst others.
