Ms. Noor Ul Ain Basit

Ms. Noor Ul Ain Basit is an Associate Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, University of Central Punjab. She holds an MS in Clinical and Counselling Psychology with distinction from Beaconhouse National University and a BA (Hons.) in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Forman Christian College University. She has received clinical and counselling training from Fountain House, Jinnah Hospital, Mind Professionals, and the Punjab Institute of Mental Health. She is a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) trained by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board and is certified in Psychological First Aid by Johns Hopkins University. Her professional work also includes contributing to national educational initiatives such as Bulandi and the Advanced Learning Program – Beyond the Classroom. She has developed and facilitated workshops on empathy, character building, and trust for school children. Actively engaged in dramatics and debate since her school years, Ms. Basit has won awards in acting, production, and scriptwriting and now serves as part of the Dramatics patronship at UCP.
Her research interests focus on postpartum mental health and eating disorders.
