Asad Pervaz is a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Central Punjab. Before joining UCP, he worked for three years as a lecturer of Political Science at the Lahore School of Law. He is an academic specialized in nationalist politics. He holds an M.Phil. in Political Science from Forman Christian College (A chartered University), Lahore. His work focuses on democracy, ethno-federalism, Pakistan’s politics, social movements, social mobilization, issues of identity, the politics of the periphery, and the riddle of Saraiki consciousness.
