Maira Ikram Malik

Maira Ikram Malik is a Software Engineering graduate and Lab Instructor at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore. She completed her BS in Software Engineering from UCP with a CGPA of 3.74 and is currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science at FAST-NUCES (2026–present). Her interests include software development, web and mobile application development, software testing, debugging, AI-based applications, and academia, particularly teaching, curriculum development, and research. Her Final Year Project, Deepfake Detector, is a web application designed to identify AI-generated videos using deep-learning techniques.

Before joining UCP, Maira completed internships in web and mobile application development and business development, gaining exposure to React, React Native, responsive user interfaces, APIs, debugging, code reviews, requirements gathering, client communication, and coordination. Her technical skills include Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL, the MERN stack, React Native, and software testing. She is interested in developing practical software solutions, contributing to teaching and learning, exploring research opportunities, and continuously strengthening her academic and technical skills.
