Dr Kanza Aziz Awan holds PhD in Food Technology from The University of Agriculture Faisalabad. She has been recipient of merit scholarship throughout her academic career and won Silver medal in BSc. (Hons.). She has 3 years teaching and research experience and expertise in the field of food science and nutrition. Dr. Kanza Awan has published numerous articles in national and international journals. She has co-authored a book, “Scientific Presentations”, and has contributed four chapters in local and international books. Her research competencies focus in the domain of human nutrition with special reference to functional foods and nutraceuticals. She also has research interest in designer foods, plant based bioactives, antioxidants and their health boosting perspectives. She has participated in several national and international conferences. She also worked as an organizer in numerous national and international conferences, seminars and training programs. Kanza is a life member of Pakistan Society of Food Scientists and Technologists.
