Dr. Saba Kabir
Assistant Professor
Ext: 7848
Saba Kabir received her doctoral degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Her research interest lies in infectious diseases with a main focus on multi-drug resistance of the organisms. She has deep interest in studying molecular basis underlying host resistance and tolerance to pathogens. She has experience working in (BSL-III) Lab with culturing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and determining its phenotypic and genotypic resistance. She is motivated young scientists. She has got several trainings on national and international level and a certified trainer for Biosafety and Biosecurity. She is an active member of Pakistan Biological Safety Association (PBSA), Biosafety Association for central Asians and Caucasians (BACAC) and American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
