Dr. Mohammad Irfan Ali is a distinguished scholar, and educator is currently serving as In-Charge Department of Politics and International Relations. Armed with a Ph.D. in International Relations, Dr. Ali’s journey in academia began as a senior lecturer, at the Faculty of Media and Mass Communication, University of Central Punjab, Lahore, where he served for five years before embarking on his doctoral studies. Dr. Ali’s engagement with the media industry has been equally remarkable. He has lent his insights and expertise to different media houses, contributing thought-provoking articles to newspapers and serving as the head of the Urdu program section at FM 92.6. His analytical prowess has earned him recognition in televised discussions, where he frequently appears as a political analyst, offering nuanced perspectives on pressing issues. In addition to his academic and media commitments, Dr. Ali actively participates in the realm of policy discourse. He represented his university in diverse think tanks in Islamabad, during a four-day study tour in march 2024, contributing to informed deliberations on matters of national and international significance. Dr. Ali’s scholarly contributions are underscored by his publications in HEC recognized journals, with twenty notable articles to his credit. Additionally, he has organized and participated in different research conferences at the national level, as well as taking part in multiple workshops focused on research and teaching. Moreover, he plays a pivotal role in fostering academic and extracurricular development within university communities, holding patronship positions in various societies and served as the Program Coordinator for the MPhil IR program. Through his efforts, Dr. Ali has organized numerous seminars and workshops, enriching academic experience for students and faculty alike. Dr. Mohammad Irfan Ali’s multifaceted career reflects a profound commitment to scholarship, education, and public engagement. His endeavors in academia, media, and policy circles have positioned him as a notable figure in the field of International Relations, with his contributions leaving an indelible mark on both academic discourse and public understanding.
