Dr. Asma Zafar
Assistant Professor
Dr. Asma Zafar has completed her PhD in Biotechnology from Govt. College University Lahore (GCUL) and conducted part of her research work at Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London. Her research focuses on Gene Cloning and Expression, Protein Purification and characterization of recombinant proteins from hyperthermophillic archea. At Bioengineering Department, Imperial College London she got experience in Plasmid Constructions, DNA sequencing Techniques, Animal Cell Culturing, Florescent Microscopy and Proteomics. Her expertise are in the field of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Microbiology. She has published her research work in high impact factor journals and participated in various International and National Conferences as presenter. To date she has 20.42 impact factor. She has work experience in various projects of Pakistan Science Foundation as well as Higher Education Commission Islamabad, Pakistan.
