Dr. Rizwana Kausar has started her career with UCP in 2012 as an assistant professor. However, with her consistent hard work and devotion she is currently serving as a Dean of the Faculty of Science & Technology. She did her PhD in applied mathematics from University of the Punjab and Post-Doctorate from the Department of Physics, University of Zurich, Switzerland by securing Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship. She has an excellent administrative, research and teaching profile. She has published all her research papers in impact factored W category journals and presented her work at various national and international conferences. She has achieved research productive awards by Pakistan Council for Science and Technology multiple times. Her area of interest includes Theory of Relativity, Cosmology and Gravitation.
In the capacity of Dean, she is overseeing and managing 07 department of basic and life sciences with around 22 degree programs. She has taken many strategic & academic initiatives to achieve the teaching and research excellence. She is an expert of handling budget and strategic planning to work for the institutional growth and development.
