Dr. Sawaira Rashid is scholar focused on South Asian regional politics, US-India strategic partnership, US foreign policy towards South Asia, Nuclearization of South Asia, War on terror and re-emergence of US in South Asia, Pakistan’s rising security concerns, China’s emerging trends in South Asia and SAARC. She has been part of University of Education, Lahore as a faculty member. She has completed her Ph.D from Department of Political Science, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
At UCP, Dr. Sawaira Rashid is teaching; Politics of South Asia, Foreign Policy of Pakistan, Research Methodology for Social Sciences, Regional and International Organizations and Introduction to Political Science.
