Ms. Ume Farwa is working as lecturer in University of Central Punjab. She done her MPhil Economics from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) and B.Sc. Hons (Economics) from Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore. Before joining University of Central Punjab (UCP), she worked as a Research Assistant in Punjab Economic Research Institute (PERI) and did research on different topics such as educational inequalities, female labour force participation, digital economy, healthcare and so on. Her research interests lie in institutional economics and microeconomics. She has been teaching different courses of economics at graduate level.
