Theory meets the practice in Ms. Yabinda Saleem’s distinctive and extensive professional career, spanning more than one decade of university-level mentorship and court practice. Ms. Saleem joined the Faculty of Law as an assistant professor at the University of Central Punjab (UCP). With her more than a decade-long legacy in academia and active legal practice, she holds the ability to analyze law from both angles of the podium and the bar. It is about defending a case in a courtroom or driving legal minds logically; she is highly dedicated to bridging the gap between complex legal scenarios and legislative law.
In her magnificent career, Ms. Saleem holds authority in competitive advocacy; she supervised the Law Moot Societies and is also a veteran adjudicator for elite Law Moots, parliamentary debates, and mock trials as well. With practical legal skills, she is also a research scholar and holds primary interest in human rights law, international humanitarian law, constitutional rights and freedoms, environmental law, criminal law, and AI in the legal world.
Ms. Saleem brings a wealth of advanced experience in legal academia to bring it in line with contemporary pedagogical methodologies. This unique integration of competitive supervision, real-world advocacy, and extensive legal research places Ms. Saleem as an educator who enables law aspirants to understand multifarious legal doctrines and equips them to become profound law scholars.
Research Interest: Human rights law, international humanitarian law, constitutional rights and freedoms, environmental law, criminal law, and AI in the legal world.
