Ms. Ammara Siddiqui is a legal academic, researcher, and professional trainer with over two decades of experience in legal education and academic leadership. Serving in the Faculty of Law since 2006, she is currently an Assistant Professor and Patron of the Law Society at the University of Central Punjab, Pakistan. Her professional career reflects a steadfast commitment to legal scholarship, pedagogical excellence, institutional leadership, academic administration and the promotion of ethical and professional standards within legal education.

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Girne American University, Turkish Cyprus, where she was awarded the prestigious Highest Honors (Relay Medal) in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement. Her academic credentials are further complemented by specialized certifications in English Language and Communication Skills Development from the British Council and Pitman (2001), as well as certification in Pedagogy and Best Practices in Teaching (2020). In 2010, she was selected by the United States Consulate to participate in the U.S. State Leadership Program on 21st Century Legal Education, a distinction that enhanced her understanding of contemporary legal pedagogy and comparative legal education.

As a legal academic, Ms. Siddiqui has taught and mentored students across a broad spectrum of foundational and interdisciplinary subjects, including Law of Torts, Introduction to Law and Legal Systems, Gender and Law, Legal English, Legal Ethics and Communication Skills. Her pedagogical approach integrates doctrinal legal analysis with practical skills training, fostering legal reasoning, advocacy, critical inquiry, and professional competence among future legal practitioners. She has also rendered valuable service as an Examination and Coordinator and Examination Coordinator, Member of Disciplinary Committee ensuring procedural integrity, transparency, and academic rigor in institutional assessment processes.

Her scholarly interests are situated at the intersection of Forensic Law, Digital Cyber Crime Law, Environmental Law, Media Law, Gender and Law, Medical Law, Professional Ethics, Legal Education, and Human Rights discourse.

In addition to her academic contributions, Ms. Siddiqui is an accomplished trainer in professional ethics, leadership, workplace conduct, and communication, having delivered training programs and workshops on ethical leadership, workplace harassment law, organizational compliance, corporate ethics, emotional intelligence, and professional etiquette.  She has been training in many institutions such as National College of Arts Management and Professional Development Department, Punjab Government

A notable feature of her professional profile is her extensive international exposure. She has acquired and delivered academic, professional, and training experience across Pakistan, the United States of America, Turkey, Cyprus, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and India, enabling her to engage with diverse legal, educational, and professional frameworks. Through her leadership of the UCP Law Society, Ms. Siddiqui has spearheaded co-curricular legal initiatives, legal aid activities, and Workshop on Dignity and Law by Dr. Evelin Gerda Lindner Norwegian Human Rights Activist, international collaborations such as COIL Project; UK.

She has also presented papers at three international conferences and contributed to academic publications, reflecting her commitment to legal research and scholarship.

Ms. Siddiqui’s professional philosophy is founded upon the intrinsic nexus between law, ethics, and communication. Through her academic and professional endeavors, she continues to advance legal education, cultivate morals, ethics, leadership, and promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and excellence.
