Miss Shaista Anwar is an LL.M with a 14 years teaching experience in Law. Her teaching areas mainly include English Jurisprudence, International Law, Logic and Critical thinking, and Property laws. Her studies and devoted learning in the field of law teaching has secured her many strengths. The biggest amongst those is the pragmatic teaching techniques developed over the years through hands-on experience. Teaching subjects like English Jurisprudence to nescient brains of law students actuated her to forge unconventional teaching methods such as engaging them in moots and philosophical debates through stories & historical events involving legal and moral controversies. Her devotion as Patron Study Circle at Punjab Law College helped her create research opportunities for students and herself on variegated subjects from the field of law and politics. In that capacity, she organized many seminars and discussion forums and presented her research on diverse topics. The experience so procured furnishes her with immense guidance for her current research endeavours. Her research interests mainly include International law, international Humanitarian and human rights law, conflict of laws and legal philosophy. In pursuance of her efforts to ameliorate her teaching and research prowess, she frequently attends different training sessions. So far she have been through several training sessions on International Humanitarian Law, property laws, constitutional law and Teaching & Research skills organized by different national and international institutions. Furthermore, her position as coordinator LL.B program accords her chance to develop her professional skills on administrative plan also which provides diversity to her experience. She is also providing her services as member Board of studies, member Board of Faculty for faculty of law. She had also served as member Doctoral committee of UCP.
