Consul General China Scholarships Distribution Ceremony

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized Consul General China Scholarship Distribution Ceremony. Consulate General of China at Lahore, Mr. Zhao Shiren was the Chief Guest of this ceremony. Sir Abdul Rehman, Lecturer at FOHSS and Co-patron of Voltaire society moderated the whole ceremony. Student of BS International Relations, Nasrullah recited some verses of Holy Quran. After that National Anthems of China and Pakistan were played. After this initial activities, a documentary on Sino-Pak relations was put on display. Mr. Zhao Shiren congratulated the students who got the scholarships and motivated other students to study hard so that they will also be able to procure this opportunity. Mr. Zhao announced more scholarships for the next year. The Chief Guest also exhibited his interest in mutual educational and economic collaborations with University of Central Punjab especially, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt concluded the whole ceremony and thanked to the Chief Guest with a souvenir.
